Optotune has adapted into the market requirements for a high average laser power of up to 50 W for laser marking and engraving. The lens is easil integrated on new or existing systems and 1:1 interchangeable with the previous EL-10-42-OF-1064 liquid tunable lens capable of up to 30 W at 1064nm. Tigher specs, better repeatability, thermal stability and performance on a wide NIR range 950nm-1100nm for up to 50W average lasser powers are foreseen with the new lens. In addition to the integration of the NIR lens with the EL-E-OF-NIR analog Optotune driver for 2.5D applications, the new 3D NIR lens easily achieves speeds of up to 6m/s on the z-axis and up to 15m/s on the x,y-axis for motion control using the new high-end driver DSD-2-O Optotune-Scaps driver.
